Apple pie

Ingredients
Crust
Spelt flour
100 g
Oatmeal
80 g
Ghee
50 g, or butter
Salt
1/4 of teaspoon
Water
3 tablespoons
Filling
Apple
600 g (Granny Smith, Golden delicious)
Water
200 ml
Agar
5 g, or jelly
Erythritol
50 g, or different sweetener
Ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon
Nutmeg
1/4 of teaspoon
Lemon juice
1 tablespoon
Preparation process
  1. Mix salt and flour together and add cold butter. By using a fork or your hands, create a loose but sticky mixture (gradually adding water as needed). Then leave the dough it in the fridge for 20 minutes.
  2. Roll out the dough into a circle about 2 cm larger than your form.
  3. Spread out the dough into the mold and shape it.
  4. For the FILLING - cut apples to about 1 cm big cubes and put it with water and all the other ingredients (except agar)  together to cook for 10 minutes.
  5. Two minutes before the end of the cooking add the agar and stir very carefully.
  6. Pour the applesauce mixture into the mold, decorate and align.
  7. Bake for about 10 minutes at 220 °C and another 30 minutes at 180 °C.
